Direct payments workshop

Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) is working with Community Catalysts to hold a direct payments workshop at Cheshire FA in Northwich from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday 25 June.

This workshop will build on the previous discussions that have taken place across the community sector, exploring how the sector can engage more with direct payments, provide a greater choice of services, events and activities for people to take part in, and help them achieve positive outcomes.

CWVA will outline some of the developments since previous discussions, while Community Catalysts will provide an overview of the processes put in place when it is supporting micro enterprises in Cheshire West to engage with direct payments, particularly around providing any personal care.

Barrie Bookkeeping, the new direct payments provider in Cheshire West, will also be attending the workshop.
