Friday Gardening with Greening Maindee

Join in with the volunteers at Greening Maindee for our regular volunteer gardener days.

Please arrive at 9:15am

We will either be located at

Eveswell Community Garden 25, Eveswell Street, Newport, NP19 8EP or St Mary, Wharf Road, Corporation Road, NEWPORT, NP20 1JY

What to expect:

The group arives at 9:15am, we have refreshments for 20 minutes and then get assigned various gardening tasks, which might inlcude

-digging

-weeding

-clearing

-planting

-watering

Drinks, snacks and lunch is provided.

Please bring:

-comfortable clothing that can get dirty

-closed-toed shoes such as trainers or work boots

-a waterproof if it is going to rain

-a sunhat and suncream if it is sunny

If you don't have any of this items, please get in contact so we can source them.

Gloves and gardening tools will be provided
