with Artist Isla Shah
This imaginative mixed-media art project invites children to explore the magic of nature through creativity within the gardens of Rhyl School and visuals inspired by our artist in residence Iylah Shah. Inspired by the colours, textures and life found in the natural environment around them, each child will create their own unique canvas artwork using mixed medium using Acrylic paint, Posca Pens & stencils to understand the negative and positive to create interesting patterns using art resources to inspire their artistic techniques.
Through drawing, painting and collage, our young artists will be encouraged to use their imagination to interpret the garden in their own way. At the end of the project, all of the individual canvases will be carefully stitched together to form a vibrant collaborative artwork, celebrating each child’s contribution and creating a beautiful shared piece that reflects the creativity and community of the whole group
