Description

The Summer programme will be fully focused around fitness and nutrition alongside rewarding activities for the young people such as cinema, indoor educational workshops, trips and so on.

The programme will consist of daily physical sessions where young people will play sports; football, badminton and Dodgeball with their peers in a safe and rewarding environment. The sports activity will alternate each day alongside fitness workouts of HITT, strength and conditioning to further enhance young peoples body and mind.

The programme will bring enjoyment through socialising with young people diverse backgrounds within Tower Hamlets, as they will have creative and interactive activities to break ice and have discussion with others. This will work towards strong, resilient and safe communities as the programme will empower young people by developing their personal skills and character to inspire them to engage in purposeful activities, gain confidence and better themselves under a safe environment.

On a daily basis, we will spend 15 minutes time on nutritional education where our young people will be conversed into various topics on nutrition to create better health eating and enable them to incorporate it better in their lifestyle once Summer programme is completed. The project will contribute to local cohesion among diverse communities, especially for young people who can take full part in safe and positive environment and stay away from negative and harmful environment.
