Adur Volunteers Week

We are showcasing the work of our volunteers and community groups and are seeking to help the community learn more about the important roles they play in our communities. We would love you to be part of this!

This is a great opportunity for residents and businesses to get involved and see first-hand what volunteering opportunities are available across Adur.

From Friday 2nd to Thursday 8th October 2026 we will be promoting and encouraging residents to explore, learn and participate in the amazing work of our community and volunteer groups across Lancing, Sompting, Shoreham, Southwick and Fishersgate.

• Register to showcase the work you do and promote a planned session or run a drop in event so residents can learn more about your work.

• Let us know if you can make the end of weeks celebratory and networking event on 8th October. If you are not running specific activities during our event week, but would like to attend the celebratory event on Thursday, 8th October, please register here.

We look forward to having as many groups as possible involved in this year's event, and hope to help promote and celebrate the amazing work in our communities.
