Try a relaxing 15‑minute Free Tai Chi taster and see if a full term of classes is for you.
Join us for a short, gentle introduction to Tai Chi designed for complete beginners and anyone curious about moving more mindfully. In just 15 minutes, you’ll experience simple standing exercises, easy breathing techniques, and one or two basic Tai Chi movements. The focus will be on relaxation, balance, and moving with ease rather than fitness or flexibility.
You’ll also have a chance to meet the instructor, ask questions, and find out how Tai Chi can support stress relief, posture, and joint mobility. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in; no special equipment is needed.
If you enjoy the taster, you can sign up for the full Tai Chi course running from 19 May to 21 July. Each class will last 90 minutes, giving you time to learn at a relaxed pace, repeat movements, and build confidence week by week. Over the term, you will:
The cost for the full term is £50, to be paid in advance. The taster is a low‑pressure way to try something new, and there’s no obligation to continue – just come along, have a go, and see how it feels.
