B3 Family Fun Day: Blankets, Ball Games & Bites

Join B3 — Bumps, Birth and Belonging CIC for a relaxed afternoon of family fun, food, games and community connection.

Bring your picnic blanket, bring your food, and bring the whole family as we come together at Blackshots Recreation Ground for an afternoon when everyone can relax, play, and enjoy being part of the B3 community.

Time: 1 pm - 5 pm

Location: Blackshots Recreation Ground, Blackshots Lane, Grays, Essex, RM16 2JU

Cost: Free to attend - registration is required

What can you expect?

Families can look forward to:

• Face painting

• A football area set up for the men in our lives

• Games and activities for the children

• Space to enjoy a family picnic on the grass

• Extra food and refreshments provided by B3

• Time to relax, connect and spend time with other families

This is a relaxed community day rather than a formal tournament or tightly scheduled event. Families are welcome to arrive, get comfortable and take part in as much or as little as they choose.

What should you bring?

Please bring:

• A picnic blanket or outdoor chairs

• Food and drinks for your family

• Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor games

• Sun protection or waterproof clothing, depending on the weather

B3 will also provide some additional food and refreshments for families to share.

Who is the event for?

The event is open to mums, dads, partners, children, extended family members, friends and supporters of the B3 community.

Children must remain supervised by their parent or a responsible adult throughout the event.

Parking and Travel

Free parking is available nearby at Impulse Leisure Blackshots. The recreation ground is a short drive from Grays Town Centre.

The event is completely free, but advance registration is required to help us safely plan the food, refreshments and activities.
