We will be delivering fun, inclusive activities, outdoor adventure trips and disability sports for children and young people aged 5 - 16 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Beverley Leisure Complex, 29th December
In the morning, we will have various Christmas crafting activities, inclusive games and disability sports as well as fun family-based old-school board games.
In the afternoon, Harbourside Theatre Group presents a family pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk. A spectacular, laugh-out-loud GIANT adventure, and the panto you've BEAN waiting for!
The pantomime is specifically for children and young people with SEND, and their families. For this afternoon event, parent(s) will need to stay and enjoy the performance with their child. We will contact you shortly to asking about the number of tickets you require for your immediate family.
Food is provided with cold sandwiches including Tuna, cheese, ham and egg with a snack, a piece of fruit and a drink. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunches.
Children will be required to book both the AM and PM sessions.
Jack and the Beanstalk will start at 12:30 pm. As the afternoon is a family pantomime, parents will need to accompany their child to the performance.
Siblings will also be able to attend the pantomime. We will be in contact with you regarding the booking and the number of family members to attend.
Key Information:
If your child has additional needs, please provide as much information as possible, using the additional SEND information question on the Plinth booking form. We will then get in touch with you to see how we can support your child.
We encourage parents, carers or personal assistants to stay to support their child. Please contact us directly to arrange this in advance.
All carers and/or personal assistants will need to bring their ID or DBS to adhere to our organisation's policy if you are staying for the morning session.
We cannot provide 121 support during our morning session. Please get in touch with haf@eastriding.gov.uk for further information on applying for 121 support.
If the session you are trying to book is full, then please email info@abilite.uk and request to be added to the waiting list for that session. Once a space becomes available, you will be contacted to see if you're child would still like to attend the session.
Abilite are delivering a range of activities across the East Riding this Christmas, including inflatable sumo suits, zorbing, bouncy castle, disability sports, sensory drama activities, UV games, and new this Christmas, a family pantomime.
