Bikes & Bells - Women's Beginner Cycling Lessons

Never ridden a bike? This friendly, free lesson is just for women - a relaxed, supportive space to learn at your own pace. These sessions are especially for New Scots - women who are new to Scotland and making Glasgow their home.

Our patient instructors will help you with everything from your very first push of the pedals to riding on your own. No experience needed at all - most women who join us are complete beginners, so you'll be in good company!

Bikes and helmets are provided free, in all sizes. Everyone is welcome, whatever your level of English.

Where: Sunny Cycles Hub, Monteith Row (beside Glasgow Green)

Cost: FREE - part of the Glasgow 2026 Festival
