Title: Fixer – Electrical/general

Specific days – Weds, Thurs, Fri and Sat mornings

Description:
Do you have repair and reuse skills that you’d love to share with the Newport community? Whether you’ve been tinkering in your garage for years, have skills built over a career or want to learn from our dedicated volunteer team we’d love to hear from you.

The repair café sessions at RE:MAKE Newport run every morning, Wednesday to Saturday 10am till 1pm.

We see all sorts of repairs from broken tools and vacuums to old toys and radios. Some items just need a tinker, a clean and some TLC, some need a full investigation, no day and no repair is ever the same at RE:MAKE!

You do not need to have any formal qualifications to join our fixing team, we start newcomers off slow with an existing volunteer as mentor and are guided by you.

Training and small qualifications can be offered to expand knowledge in line with your personal development goals.
