Inspire have been gathering resources that are helpful to safeguarding topics, advice and guidance specific to the voluntary sector. These resources will give you guidance on Safeguarding policys, South Tyneside Council Local authority safeguarding literature, and more. 

Safeguarding in the VCSE sector. 

South Tyneside Council offer online E-learning training which covers both adult and children safeguarding subjects, through their virtual college. Various safeguarding topics covering sexual exploitation, vulnerable groups, mental health, understanding capacity, how to manage disclosures, and ranges from Levels 1-3.
