Description

Lived Experience Talk - by an Anti-Apartheid Legacy Centre Community Member

Our Lived Experience Talks can be delivered in person or online. With a range of speakers, experiences and perspectives, these sessions bring the history of apartheid and the struggle for liberation to life through personal stories and first-hand experience, while opening up wider conversations about solidarity, social justice and the continuing legacies of apartheid.

Speakers include former London Recruits, who undertook secret missions in support of the struggle against apartheid, and elders from the South African diaspora, who share their experiences of life under apartheid, activism, migration and change.

Talks can be tailored to different age groups and areas of study and include opportunities for students to ask questions and engage directly with speakers.

Suitable for KS2, KS3, KS4 & KS5.

Email us at info@antiapartheidlegacy.org.uk to enquire about speakers, availability or with any questions. Visit our Lived Experience Talks page for more information.
