About:

This Masterclass is about exploring the topic of boundaries in youth and peer led work, both for professionals and for young people. The session will look at different types of boundaries that come up and their impact, sharing of lived experiences, and creating safe and inclusive spaces for individuals and groups. This session has been coproduced with young people and features their feedback on what they’d like professionals to know about how they feel about boundaries.

Content highlights include:

  • Boundaries; what do they consist of and what do they mean in practice?
  • Implementing and maintaining boundaries for staff and young people
  • Purposeful storytelling and lived experience
  • Reflection, after-care and support
  • Troubleshooting together

After the masterclass will be an optional time and space for professionals to connect and network.
