Where Does UK Grant Funding Actually Go?

Join us as we launch Plinth Data and ask a simple question: where does grant funding actually go?

Charities exist to change lives, and funders exist to support their mission. But it has never been easy to see who is funding whom, which causes and places are well funded, and which are being left behind.

Plinth Data changes that. We’ve brought together the Charity Commission register, filed charity accounts and 360Giving grant data into one open, searchable tool. Fundraisers can find the funders behind work like theirs, funders can see where their giving sits in the wider picture, and anyone can compare funding across causes and places.

We believe funding data should be open to everyone. Transparency helps charities find the right funders, helps funders see the bigger picture, and helps the whole sector make better decisions.

Expect drinks, a live look at the data, our “Who’s Funding Who?” quiz, and an open conversation about transparency in charity funding.
