Sussex Underwater

Sussex Underwater is now a charity formed by a wonderful community group of divers and sea users. We film underwater and on the beaches. Our aim is to show people the recovery that is starting to happen in Sussex Bay since the in shore trawler ban came into effect in 2021.

We want to give the sea creatures a voice. We hope people fall in love with them and then want to help them. 

We have an active Facebook group, with over 17, 000 members, and encourage divers and everyone, out and about, either under or above water, to share sightings and whatever creatures capture imagination.

We work with schools and young people and love our work.

We are proud to call Sussex Bay our home.
