Detached Youth Work – Kiwi Park

Supporting Communities delivers Detached Youth Work across Kiwi Park, engaging with young people aged 8–17 in the places where they naturally spend their time. Funded by the Derby City Council Neighbourhood Board, the project provides positive opportunities that help create safer communities and support young people's wellbeing.

Our experienced youth workers build trusted relationships through outreach, offering informal support, advice, positive activities, and early intervention. By engaging young people where they are, we help reduce anti-social behaviour, increase confidence, and connect them with wider Supporting Communities services, including mobile youth provision, youth sessions, volunteering opportunities, and 1:1 support where needed.
