Did you ever go to Silversands

On a sunny summer’s day?

Then perhaps you saw the mermaid

Who sang in the deep blue bay.

One day, the singing mermaid is tempted away from all of her sea creature friends and her peaceful home at Silversands to join a travelling circus. The audiences love to hear her sing, but the poor mermaid was tricked! Instead of the swimming pool she was promised, she is kept in a small tank by the wicked circus master Sam Sly, and she soon longs to return to the freedom of the sea.

Will she ever escape? And who will help her along the way?

Through beautiful puppetry and performance, and with music by Barb Jungr (We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, The Pixie and the Pudding, The Smartest Giant in Town, There May be a Castle and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book), Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks’s enormously popular story, The Singing Mermaid, is brought to life.

Children attending will be able to choose snacks and a drink from the selection on offer at the Theatre to enjoy during the performance (the ‘snack pack’ contains one drink and 3 snacks of your choice). Each child will also receive a supermarket voucher as part of the lunch offer.

·        Register of interest via the Lunch Bunch Plinth system does not guarantee tickets.

·        Little Angel Theatre will contact you directly to confirm if you want to go ahead with your booking – If you do not respond to this email within 3 working days your Plinth booking will automatically be cancelled.

·        Tickets are not confirmed on Plinth until this process has taken place. Lunch Bunch tickets cannot be booked directly via Little Angel Theatre’s Box Office. 



·        All children must be accompanied by an adult. Every child booked via the Lunch Bunch scheme will automatically be assigned one accompanying adult ticket. 

·        If spaces are full and you would like to be added to a waiting list then please email sarah@littleangeltheatre.com Anyone on the waiting list will be contacted if tickets become available, but bookings must still be made via the Plinth platform in the first instance and are not guaranteed.
