Description

Come and spend time in a thriving urban oasis and discover how a community garden grows food, supports people and helps us reconnect with nature.

Graft Garden is an edible, community‑led space that has transformed an unused lawn into a biodiverse growing landscape. It’s a place for learning, sharing skills and slowing down together.

We are currently gathering expressions of interest from groups who would like to take part in a garden experience in June. There are no set dates yet — we want to build groups based on who is interested and what works best for them.

A typical session includes:

  • A warm welcome with a cuppa and a gentle stretch around the fire
  • Exploring different parts of the garden
  • Learning about:
  • Growing and harvesting seasonal food
  • Soil, compost and caring for the land
  • Bees, pollinators and biodiversity
  • Fresh, seasonal produce and simple ways to cook it

There’s no pressure to know anything already , just curiosity and a willingness to get involved.

Time spent in gardens is known to be calming, grounding and healing. They are also powerful spaces for bringing people together. Whether your is interested in food, nature, wellbeing or community, there will be something meaningful to take away.

All are welcome.

If you would be interested in joining a June session, please let us know by adding your name to this opportunity and we’ll be in touch as dates are shaped around demand.
