Description

Netherwood Youth & Family Hub Junior Summer Programme

Join us at Netherwood Youth & Family Hub for our Junior Summer Programme, designed for young people aged 10–13 years. The programme offers a fun, safe and welcoming space where juniors can take part in a range of structured activities, build confidence, make friends and enjoy positive summer experiences.

Across the two junior weeks, young people will enjoy a varied programme including sports and team games, cooking and life skills, creative activities, board and video games, open access youth club activities, and group challenges. Activities are designed to support teamwork, confidence, independence, wellbeing and social skills, while keeping young people active and engaged during the summer holidays.

Young people will also have the opportunity to take part in exciting Friday trips, including Go Ape in Week 1 and an Escape Room in Week 2. Trip details will be confirmed through the booking process.

The programme will include opportunities for young people to learn practical skills such as food preparation, kitchen safety, hygiene, healthy snacks, teamwork, problem-solving and positive social interaction. Sessions will be relaxed, supportive and youth-focused, with staff on hand to encourage participation and ensure everyone feels included.
