Free Football and Multi sports activities over Easter 2026 holiday for young people who are on benefits-related free school meals. Ages 8 to 16. A free hot, healthy meal is provided daily. Expect 6 days of fun football, fitness and sports activities. The holiday programme ends with a Tournament day and medal ceremony. Please also see our other club for SEND children.

The Vallance Community Trust (VCT) has evolved from participation and activity around recreational and sports activities. 
The provision of services to young people, ages of 8-25 and adults in all areas of London Borough Tower Hamlets and surrounding boroughs, with the aim to develop a rich multi-cultural membership, targeting those who are unemployed, underachieving or excluded from school, and those who are socially excluded.
To provide a diverse programme of sporting activities with the intention of giving, particularly disaffected, vulnerable young people a sense of purpose, identity and achievement.
To promote diversity, harmony and co-operation amongst all communities and groups of whatever race, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation and to foster shared interests and goals.
To create a physically stimulating environment, which will channel energy and relieve stress.
To enable young people to bridge the gaps between peer groups from different backgrounds, areas and cultures.
To promote better understanding, unity and harmony instead of strife.
To create a positive team spirit and identity in order to foster healthy competition rather than hostility and violence.
Through regular physical training, improved diet and abstention from substance abuse to improve overall health and an ongoing healthy lifestyle.
To provide positive role models and mentors to work with disaffected youths in order to encourage their access to other support services, in order to reduce the “risk” of involvement in drug use, criminal activities, and violent conflict with other similar groups.

Thousands of children who are eligible for and claiming benefits-related free school meals will be able to access a free place a holiday activity club over the school holiday.Open to eligible children and young people aged 4 to 16 years, all programmes provide:<ul><li>free, nutritious and tasty food</li><li>fun physical activity sessions</li><li>a wide range of other exciting activities to suit different ages and personalities</li><li>opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and their families.</li></ul> Please note: benefits-related free school meals are different from universal free school meals provided in all Tower Hamlets schools. If you are unsure if your child is signed up for benefits-related free school meals, please check with your child’s school. How do I sign up my child?If your child is eligible for a free place at a HAF club, you would have received a HAF letter in the post. To book a free place:•Register an account with Plinth •Select your HAF club from the list of providers •&nbsp;Follow their registration instructions. When registering there are two ways to prove eligibility: First, through the automatic eligibility check through the registration form by entering their name and date of birth. Second, inserting your child’s HAF Code in the registration form. This can be found at the top of your HAF letter. If you have missed out on a place at your chosen club, please check out opportunities at other clubs.
