The KAYAKS SEND Easter Disco HAF @ Armstrong Bar for ages 4-18 years

The Kayaks Charity present SEND Family Disco. Entertainment provided by Lil Devils George Thompson with lots of dancing, fun, games and prizes. A buffet will be provide to all. This event is funded by HAF and children who recieve free school meals can attend this event free of charge. The usual £2 per child applies to those not receiving free school meals. Please complete the form to book, ensuring you let us know whether your child receives free school meals.

Hundreds of children across South Tyneside will access free, nutritious food and enriching activities over the school holidays, as the Department for Education (DFE) has confirmed funding for the holiday activities and food programme (HAF) throughout 2025.&nbsp; These free holiday clubs will support families who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. Activities include: Football, Surf School, Swimming, Musical Theatre, Dance and introducing our newly added activities Darts and Yoga / Mindfulness. Our 'Teen Ticket’ allows teenagers access to many attractions across South Tyneside, without a parent needing to be present. The next programme of free holiday clubs is during the school summer holidays (Monday 21st July - Sunday 31st August). Bookings for summer activities will be available from Tuesday 1st July at 3.30pm. All events are subject to availability and booking is essential. The sessions take place at several locations in South Tyneside and will include:&nbsp;a variety of fun activities exciting opportunities to learn and develop skills nutritious meal each day additional creative and cooking classes. To be eligible to attend the free holiday club activities, children and young people must: be eligible for <a href="https://www.southtyneside.gov.uk/article/2634/Free-school-meals" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">benefit related free school meals</a> be aged 5 to 16 years old or up to 18 with SEND (SEND children must still qualify for free school meals) and live or go to school in South Tyneside.
