This activity is part of the Family Hubs programme.
Messy play is a fun, supervised activity where babies and young children explore different textures and materials such as paint, sand, water, foam, dough, and sensory items through hands-on play. These sessions encourage children to touch, mix, pour, and create freely in a safe and stimulating environment, helping to develop their sensory awareness, motor skills, communication, confidence, creativity, and social interaction while allowing parents and carers to join in and support their learning through play.
