AOOS Final Event

We’re inviting you to come to the Authoring Our Own Stories final event and report launch Blackburn Youth Zone, 4-7pm Saturday 10th October. 

Authoring Our Own Stories is a peer research project in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Young People's Service and Youth Action. 9 young leaders are gathering research from young people across the Blackburn with Darwen through surveys and research focus groups that they have developed.

They will use this research to create art exploring how young people's civic identities impact their access to services in the borough. Young leaders will have recommendations for decision makers and service providers.

There will be a display of art created by young leaders, a Q&A, and a chance to hear recommendations that young people have about how they can be supported in Blackburn with Darwen, making services more inclusive.
