Tyneside Outdoors provides young people with the opportunity to learn and explore in the outdoors.  Using a Community Development approach, we engage disadvantaged young people in regular activities that build their confidence and skills, provide them with new opportunities and help them to appreciate the natural world.

From arts and crafts, jobs fairs, mental health groups, training courses, children's groups, exercise classes, food support and more. South Tyneside Council offer online E-learning training which covers both adult and children safeguarding subjects, through their virtual college. Various safeguarding topics covering sexual exploitation, vulnerable groups, mental health, understanding capacity, how to manage disclosures, and ranges from Levels 1-3.
