Description

Monthly Tea & Dharma Chats

An evening to slow down, share a cup of tea, and turn toward the deeper questions of life together. We will draw from the teachings on wisdom and kindness - the Dharma as taught in the Buddhist tradition - and discuss topics that are universal in nature: how to work with difficult emotions? What to pay attention to in the midst of our lives? How can we meet challenges we face on a daily basis?

With short readings and contemplations, we wish to offer an open, relaxed space where everyone is encouraged to engage. All are welcome, whatever your background, belief, or tradition. These “chats” are all about finding our way through life, cultivating an open mind and heart, and asking how we might build a wiser and kinder world.

What we will do:

  • Short readings
  • Contemplation
  • Conversations

Everyone is welcome to listen at any point and there is a space towards the end for more informal conversations.
