Youth Summer Theatre (Week 1)

Ages 11-16

Are you interested in performing arts? Are you a young performer looking to enhance your creative skills? Join us for a week of masterclasses as part of our Youth Summer Theatre programme at Bernie Grant Arts Centre. We will be hosting a range of exciting masterclass sessions from guest artists. These might include: stage combat, storytelling, beatboxing, spoken word, mask & puppetry and more. You’ll also learn ensemble skills: how to work together as a group of performers and devise exciting content. Every day you get provided with a hot meal for lunch, and there will be plenty of opportunities for meeting new people, playing games and making new friends.

And if that’s not enough, you can join us for Week 2 of the Youth Summer Theatre programme, where we will be creating a show in a week! You could put your newfound skills to the test and work towards a final performance in the Bernie Grant Arts Centre theatre space.
