Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme – Thamesmere Leisure Centre

We’re excited to offer a free summer Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Camp for children in Greenwich aged 8–15 years, hosted by Thamesmere Leisure Centre.

Thamesmere Leisure Centre offers a welcoming and supportive environment where children can stay active, try new experiences, and enjoy their school holidays. Our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is designed to keep children engaged, energised, and inspired throughout the summer.

Children will take part in a varied programme of fun and engaging activities, including:

• Swimming, helping children build confidence in the water in a safe and supervised environment
• Multi-sports, offering a range of games and activities to keep children active and having fun
• Nutrition sessions, supporting children to learn about healthy eating and positive lifestyle choices
• Library workshops, encouraging reading, creativity, and learning through interactive activities

Our programme is designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and active participation while ensuring every child has a fun and memorable holiday experience.

Programme Dates:

The programme runs from 21st July to 14th August.

Please note when booking the HAF programme, you are booking for the full 4-week block. Attendance is expected for the full programme, as non-attendance may prevent another family from accessing the space.

Weekly Breakdown:

• Week 1: Tuesday 21st July – Friday 24th July
• Week 2: Tuesday 28th July – Friday 31st July
• Week 3: Tuesday 4th August – Friday 7th August
• Week 4: Tuesday 11th August – Friday 14th August

Time: 12:00pm – 16:00pm

Eligibility:

This programme is aimed at children and families who receive benefit-related Free School Meal vouchers and live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
