South West International Development Network

At the South West International Development Network (SWIDN), we are dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations in our region to effectively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a global scale. We facilitate a variety of events aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among our members. Our upcoming events include the SWIDN Conference in October 2025, which will focus on critical issues such as family care and safeguarding essentials for trustees. By providing training and networking opportunities, we empower our members to enhance their impact in the international development sector.

Our initiatives not only strengthen local organizations but also promote a broader understanding of global challenges. Through partnerships with other organizations, we address pressing issues in international development, such as the recent cuts to UK aid budgets. We strive to build resilience within the charity sector and advocate for global solidarity in response to these challenges. By engaging with our members and the wider community, we aim to create a movement for change that resonates beyond our immediate locality, ultimately contributing to a more equitable and sustainable world.
