Part of the 11 By 11 programme
Introduction to Judaism with tour of Islington Synagogue (approx. 45 mins)
The tour includes an introduction to Judaism, the main features of the modern Synagogue and an explanation of many Jewish traditions. Students also have the opportunity to ask questions about the life of Jewish people. This supports the RE curriculum and fosters awareness and understanding of other faiths, leading to more open-minded and tolerant views of other people in our diverse multicultural society.
