Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion (1 day course)


Date: 2nd December 2026


Time: 9.45-5.30 (arrive for 9.45 to register, 10am start)


Venue: Warren Centre hall: Basement 1-8 Suffolk House London W1T 5JU


Ideal for a refresher and / or if unable to attend the full 2 day Youth Mental Health First Aider courses.


This one day course trains you as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion, giving you: 

  • An understanding of common mental health issues and how they can affect young people
  • Ability to spot signs of mental ill health in young people and guide them to a place of support
  • Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
  • Skills to support positive wellbeing

Everyone who completes the course gets: 

  • A certificate of attendance to say you are a Youth MHFA Champion
  • A Youth MHFA manual to refer to whenever you need it

To book and confirm your space, you must be able to attend the full course. Please note this training is free to attend for London youth professionals but a £100 fee will be payable for non-attendees without 7 days notice. You may also transfer your place within this notice period.
