Newton Stewart Initiative

At the Newton Stewart Initiative, we are dedicated to regenerating our town through a variety of community-focused activities and projects. We organize numerous community events throughout the year, fostering engagement and connection among residents. Our ongoing projects, such as the development of Douglas Park, the Vibe 75 venue, and the Hut Youth Initiative, aim to enhance local facilities and provide valuable resources for our community. Additionally, our Community Shop serves as a hub for local goods and volunteer opportunities, further enriching the social fabric of Newton Stewart.

We are proud to collaborate with a diverse range of funders, including The Holywood Trust, The National Lottery Community Fund, and the Scottish Government, which enables us to sustain our initiatives and expand our reach. Our efforts are focused on supporting all members of the community, particularly those who may benefit from increased access to resources and activities. By fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging participation, we strive to create a vibrant and resilient community that thrives together.
