Description

We'll be visiting this re-wilding project in Monmouthshire to see how they have developed this farm for nature and wildlife. The management of the land is currently divided between Youngwilders (a youth non-profit encouraging more 18-30 year olds into nature recovery) and a community of volunteers. Since 2023, they have been planting, disturbing, digging and scattering - alongside two very busy pigs.

We will also be visiting Roots In, Dingestow - a 200-acre lowland arable, beef, and sheep operation - a community engagement regenerative agriculture farm .

Lunch is provided. Minibus transport from (9am) and return (5pm) to Maindee Library - 79 Chepstow Road. Newport NP19 8BY. Wear clothes suitable for exploring outside.
