At Connexions South Tyneside, we provide independent and impartial careers information, advice, and guidance to young people aged 16 to 18, and up to 25 for those with special educational needs or disabilities. Our dedicated Connexions Advisers support young people in making informed choices about their future by offering personalized guidance on education, training, and employment options. We assist students in Year 11 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) by attending their annual reviews and helping them transition into post-16 education or training. Our services include one-on-one guidance, practical support with applications, and advocacy to ensure that each young person can navigate their next steps confidently.

We aim to empower young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) by providing them with the necessary resources and support to re-engage with their education or find suitable employment. Our services are accessible to all South Tyneside students in Year 11 with an EHCP, as well as young people aged 16 to 25 who may need assistance. By focusing on their individual skills, interests, and aspirations, we strive to prepare them for adulthood and future independence, ultimately making a positive impact on their lives and the community.
