Thankyou for booking onto our Fossil Hunting and Food on the Beach session at Reighton Sands. We will meet you outside St Marks Community Church on Bessingby Gate, Bridlington at 4pm on Tuesday 22nd July. Please bring a towel and dress appropriately for the weather.

Blow off the school cobwebs and celebrate the beginning of the summer holidays with us on the beach at Reighton Sands. We'll be looking for fossils and cooking up a feast over our firepit!

We use nature to reconnect young people in the most disadvantaged areas with their local urban ‘wild’ spaces in which young people are introduced to bushcraft activities such as foraging, den making, fire-building, story teling, circle time and natural crafts.

Rewilding Youth is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means that it is not for profit and has been created to serve the interests of the community it was set up to serve, in this case YOUNG PEOPLE. 

We know that spending time in nature can improve mood and wellbeing, but not everyone has easy access to the natural world especially those who live in an urban environment.

The Rewilding Youth project aims to provide opportunities for young people to access and immerse themselves within the natural environment to develop their own life-long connections with the outdoor world and its natural spaces.

We use nature to reconnect young people in the most disadvantaged areas with their local urban ‘wild’ spaces which will range from one day to longer programmes of rewilding experiences in which young people are introduced to bushcraft activities such as foraging, den making, fire-building, story telling, circle time and natural crafts. We also run trips/residentials and more intensive 8-week rewilding programmes

Welcome to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) website. Here you’ll be able to view, book and find out lots of information about the fun opportunities that are available in the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays for children and young people aged 5-16 years. <h2>Who is the programme for?</h2>Funded places on creative and active programmes are available to children and young people who receive benefit related free school meals and attend an East Riding school. There are also a limited number of places available to children and young people who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) commissioned by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We would like as many families getting involved in HAF, and due to the demand for places, children and young people are able to attend 4 HAF activities for free at Easter, 16 sessions throughout the summer holidays and a further 4 activities at Christmas, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Most sessions are 4 hours long and a meal is included at each session. Be a part of HAF and enjoy making memories.
