I’m The Girl I Want To Be is innovative and creative course for young women aged 11-18. It provides an opportunity for girls to get together, form great friendships, share opinions and talk about all the issues that affect and interest us everyday... self-esteem, relationships, media, fashion, sex, being single, our dreams for the future, feeling great about ourselves and lots more.

This 8 week course, delivered and led in partnership with ERYC with a team of friendly and experienced female youth workers, is designed to be a place for girls to explore different opinions and gives them space to make up their own mind about these matters - so that they’ll finish the course being sure that they can be the girl they want to be!

With hundreds of girls having taken part in the course in South Yorkshire alone, the I'm The Girl I Want To Be course has seen many lives changed, with over 90% of participants noting a "significant improvement in their self esteem" in the last 2 years.
