Women’s Health in South Tyneside is seeking a Female Counselling Services Coordinator
£34,948 pro rata plus pension at 12%
21 hrs a week (Job Share post with colleague also working 21 hrs) funded until March 2027
Continuation funding proposed until March 2029
HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT 25 days pro rata plus bank holidays and service days
Women’s Health in South Tyneside (WHiST) has delivered physical and mental health support services to women across South Tyneside since 1986 when it was set up by local women to plug the critical gaps in existing provision.
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive women-only space where women can improve health and wellbeing, overcome social isolation, access peer-to-peer support, and pursue personal growth, education, and purpose.
Our services empower women to build confidence and resilience, enabling them to make lasting, positive changes in their lives.
We require a counsellor with 5 years post qualifying experience and 2 years’ experience of clinical supervision to coordinate and deliver our high quality, women centred counselling services.
