Description

SEND HAF Programme – Information for Parents and Carers

Our SEND Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme offers free, inclusive sessions during the half terms, Easter, summer, and Christmas school holidays for children and young people aged 11–25 with special educational needs and disabilities. Sessions are led by experienced, DBS-checked staff trained in supporting children with a wide range of needs, and run in safe, sensory-friendly environments where your child can take part at their own pace.

Places are funded by the Department for Education and are free for children in receipt of benefits-related free school meals. A nutritious meal and drinks are provided at every session.

Sessions are available to children on a 1:3, 1:4 staffing support level. Due to staffing and safeguarding requirements we are unable to offer 1:1 support. Contact Matthew London programme lead on 07842302137 for further details.

What to send with your child

Comfortable clothing suitable for active play, trainers, a water bottle, sun cream or a coat depending on the season, and any communication aids, medication, or comfort items they may need.

It's a great chance for your child to try new activities, make friends, and stay active during the holidays — while you have peace of mind knowing they're in safe, capable hands.
