To ensure our provision is accessible to pupils with SEND we will offer:

  • Inclusive Activities - Designed to support a range of abilities and interests. Equipment and materials will be accessible for children with diverse needs.
  • Trained Staff - Experienced staff will support and communicate effectively with children with SEND. All staff are trauma informed and have experience with supporting pupils to access learning. Staff will provide opportunities for guided interactions in a supportive environment to develop social skills and foster positive relationships with peers.
  • Quiet Spaces - We offer designate quiet areas where children can take a break or relax if they become overwhelmed. Sensory-friendly spaces with comfortable seating and calming activities will be available to support pupils who are neurodivergent.
  • Visual Timetables- Visual timetables will be provided to help children understand and anticipate daily activities. Staff will use visual cues and reminders to provide structure and reduce anxiety for pupils who struggle with transitions and change.

  • Adapted Games and resources - Games and sports will be modified to make them inclusive and enjoyable for all participants. Alternative options will be presented to children who may face physical or sensory challenges.
