Places available for children aged 10 -16 years.

During your session as a farmer, you'll have the chance to engage closely with our alpacas. We have 7 boys and 7 girl alpacas. At the beginning of the session there will be a short briefing explaining what we will be doing in the session. You will get an insight into how we look after our alpacas. The session will start with feeding and meeting the alpacas, making sure they have plenty of hay and water and they are all fit and healthy. We will then round the boy alpacas up and take them for a leisurely walk in our field. Lunch will be served in our cosy little cafe or in our garden. We have been having chicken wraps, apple crumble or cake with ice cream but we will be changing the menu each week. This week will be spaghetti bolognaise followed by sponge and custard or ice cream.

After lunch you will have the opportunity to learn some bricklaying. All the equipment and materials used will be suitable for children. The bricks are wooden and the mixture is lime mortar.
