Description

'Summer Beats Goole'

A fun and interactive day making music.

We will start with some getting to know you games and rhythmic fun.

Our first activity is to explore our vocal chords - with fun singing warm ups and learning a song to sing all together as a group. Then we will move onto the ukulele - playing as a large group in unison and parts.

Lunch time with a lunch provided.

The final activity will be to create a percussion piece using the Bamboo Tamboo (which are coloured drainpipe looking tubes that you bang on the floor.)

We will end the day with a mini showcase to parents and carers of what we have achieved in the day.

These activities are part of the East Riding of Yorkshire HAF programme where parents can book funded places for children who are in receipt of benefits related free school meals and go to school in the East Riding. There are also a limited number of places on all programmes for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) awarded by the local authority. During the summer holidays, parents will be able to book up to 16 funded places. A meal is provided at each session.
