Description

Children will be getting a feeling for nature and the outdoors in this session, firstly having a short walk to a local park to explore flowers and nature.

They will return for lunch, which will be pitta pouches with a choice of fillings.

After lunch, the children will make their own mini scarecrows that they can take home to place in their gardens.

These activities are part of the East Riding of Yorkshire HAF programme where parents can book funded places for children and young people who are in receipt of benefits related free school meals and go to school in the East Riding. There are also a limited number of places on all programmes for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) awarded by the local authority. During the summer holidays, parents will be able to book up to 16 funded places. A meal is provided at each session.
