Supporting Communities delivers Mobile Youth Provision across Derby, providing a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 8–17 during evenings and peak times when anti-social behaviour is more likely to occur. Funded by the Derby City Council Community Safety Team, the project aims to reduce anti-social behaviour, increase community safety, and provide positive opportunities for young people.
Our experienced youth workers engage young people through games, sports, conversations, wellbeing activities, and informal education, creating trusted relationships and encouraging positive decision-making. Alongside activities, we provide advice, guidance, and signposting into wider support services where needed.
The mobile youth provision helps ensure young people have access to safe spaces, trusted adults, and meaningful opportunities that strengthen both individuals and the wider community.
