<h2>Join us for this 2 hour evening course where you will work towards obtaining your Start award!</h2> If you've ever wanted to learn more about paddlesports, now's your chance! The Start Award is open to all adult beginners and no previous experience is necessary. One of our Senior coaches will work with you to learn the basics of paddling. The session will focus on how to get in and out of the boat, what you need to wear and how to paddle forwards. All participants who meet the basic requirements will receive their Start Award after the session. The certificate will be emailed over to you within a couple of weeks.

We are East London CAN - East London's community interest company looking to bring the canals and their local communities closer together.

We are acting to clean up East London's waterways; widen local communities' participation in water sports; and, improve access to the waterways for all to enjoy.
London is short of greenspace for all of its many residents. By increasing access to urban blue spaces, we are hoping to increase the amount of people able to enjoy the outdoors.

We CAN work together to make our waterways enjoyable for everyone. We look forward to seeing you out on the water soon...!
