We are excited to share details of an inspiring, dynamic 10-day Green & Sustainable Technology programme, running over two weeks, designed to introduce young people to the growing opportunities within this exciting sector.
This programme combines hands-on technical learning with practical employability skills, helping participants build confidence and prepare for work or further education in green and sustainable industries.
Delivered in partnership with Iungo Solutions Ltd, experts in the field, participants will also have the opportunity to achieve a WJEC Level 2 Sustainability in Action qualification — equivalent to a GCSE and a fantastic addition to any CV.
Who Can Take Part?
· Aged 16–30
· Not currently in full-time education, employment, or training
· Open to exploring a new career pathway or interested in green and sustainable technology
· All ability levels welcome – no experience necessary

On the Programme, Participants Will:
· Explore exciting career pathways within green and sustainable technology
· Build a “Green Smart City” with Iungo Solutions
· Practical digital skills with a sustainability focus
· Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen Power, Programming with Arduino, Reducing Waste: Lean Six Sigma White Belt
· Develop teamwork, problem-solving, and technical skills
· Take part in employability and CV-building workshops
The King’s Trust staff will be present throughout the programme to support each young person, helping them develop personal and social skills. Ongoing support is also available after the programme through monthly one-to-one sessions.

Taster Day
Date: 01/06/2026
Location: Cardiff Business Technology Centre, Senghenydd Road, CF24 4AY
The Taster Day is a great opportunity to learn more about the programme, meet industry experts from Iungo Solutions Ltd, and connect with The King’s Trust staff.
Young people are encouraged to attend to gain a full understanding of what the programme involves. If there is a prior commitment on this day, please speak to us.
