Description

Progressive Sports Active Camp @ Discovery Primary School

Join us for a fun-packed 4 weeks at Discovery Primary this summer. With up to 20 different sports on offer, you’ll find everything from Dodgeball to Cricket, Archery to Frisbee, Nerf Wars to Tennis – there is something for everyone! In addition to physical activities, we also offer art and craft sessions throughout the day. Our Active Camps are about providing happy, healthy and active experiences for children during school holidays. From a parent’s perspective, our Active Camps provide a safe, child-centred environment where children can make friends, enjoy being active and have opportunities to try a whole host of different sports. Our Active Camps are unique in that they are staffed by a team of very experienced and qualified sports coaches, who work in schools throughout the academic year supporting the delivery of curriculum PE and school clubs.

Each day at our Active Camp is split into the following sessions; 2 morning sessions with a break in between, followed by lunch and indoor games prior to collection time. Each session will be different with groups rotating through each activity throughout the day.

Lunch and a drink will be provided each day. Please send your child with a drink in a refillable bottle (so they can top-up throughout the day, if needed). We try to get outdoors as much as possible, weather permitting, so please send your child wearing comfy clothes and layers, and trainers or similar footwear appropriate for taking part in sports. For the summer, please make sure to send your child with a sun hat and suncream.
