Amy’s Cookery Education is a small, independent local business providing cookery education and kitchen skills to children during school holiday periods. The organisation seeks to be inclusive and accessible to all children, regardless of background.

The purpose of Amy’s Cookery Education is to:
•	Provide fun, hands-on cookery and kitchen skills sessions to children aged 6-16
•	Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and healthy habits through food education.
•	Promote healthy eating, food knowledge, and essential life skills in a positive and inclusive way.
•	Ensure that all children, regardless of background, have equal access to food-based education, by offering free or subsidised places to children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) and from low-income families.
•	Foster diversity, inclusivity, and cultural awareness through food, ensuring our sessions reflect a wide range of cultural recipes, tastes, and traditions.
•	Engage with families, schools, and communities to extend the reach of the programme and ensure it serves those who may benefit most.

A healthy, fun, and educational lunch will also be provided.If you’ve booked a funded place, thank you for providing the required eligibility details. Our Christmas Cookery &amp; Crafts Workshop is a full day of festive fun, specially designed to inspire creativity, build kitchen confidence, and bring a little seasonal magic to the school holidays. <h3>What’s Included:</h3><ul><li>Festive baking activities – decorate delicious cupcakes and design your own gingerbread treats</li><li>Creative craft projects – make Christmas cards, tree decorations, small gifts, and your own wrapping paper</li><li>Fun hands-on activities – including pompom crafting, pebble painting, and more</li><li>Educational lunchtime provision – children will enjoy a healthy, balanced meal and learn about food and nutrition in a relaxed, friendly setting (Tomato and/or Cheese Pasta, Garlic Bread, Banana or Orange, Cookie and Fruit Juice).</li></ul><h3> </h3><h3>Additional Information:</h3><ul><li>For children aged 6 and over</li><li>Delivered by experienced, DBS-checked professionals</li><li>Held at Hornsea Town Hall – a warm, welcoming venue in the heart of the community</li><li>Funded places are available for children eligible for Free School Meals (FSM).
