<h3>Embedding Youth Voice in Practice</h3> Join us for our next Young K&amp;C Networking Forum, where we’ll be focusing on the importance of youth voice and how to meaningfully embed it into your work with children and young people. Led by our Youth Voice Coordinator, Theo Kennedy, this session will introduce a developing framework created in collaboration with our Young Ambassadors. Date: Tuesday 9th June 2026Time: 11am - 1pmLocation: London Sports Trust, Canalside Activity Centre, Canal Cl, London W10 5AY The aim of this session is to share an overview of the framework and project Theo is currently working on and to support organisations in strengthening how they capture, value, and embed youth voice within their work. By the end of the session, you will:<ul><li>Have a clearer understanding of what youth voice means in practice</li><li>Explore practical ways to capture and evidence young people’s voices</li><li>Feel more confident in embedding youth voice into your delivery and organisational approach</li><li>Gain ideas and inspiration from peers to help make youth voice meaningful and impactful</li></ul> Whether you are just starting to think about youth voice or looking to strengthen your current approach, this session will offer practical insight, shared learning, and space for reflection. Domestic abuse is an issue that affects many children and young people, often in ways that are not immediately visible. As professionals working closely with young people, it is vital that we understand how these experiences can impact their behaviour, wellbeing, and development. This session will provide an opportunity to deepen your awareness and strengthen your confidence in recognising and responding to the effects of domestic abuse in your work. Date: Thursday 25th June 2026Time: 10am-1:30pmLocation: Earl's Court Youth Club (ECYC), 120 Ifield Road, London, SW10 9AF About the training:This training session explores domestic abuse, coercive control and the impact of living with these issues on children and young people.Underpinned by the importance of contextual safeguarding for youth groups in local communities, this training session gives participants practical tips on approaching disclosures in group environments. This training's aims are:<ul><li>To improve participants' knowledge of domestic abuse and sexual violence</li><li>To improve skills to identify, respond to and prevent unhealthy relationships in young people’s lives</li><li>And to provide participants with tangible signposting and disclosure response skills to support pre-existing safeguarding knowledge</li></ul> All Tender's trainers have a Level 3 Domestic Abuse Training qualification and use creative, engaging methods to deliver domestic abuse prevention training nationally. About the TrainerTender Education &amp; Arts are a domestic abuse and sexual violence prevention charity who have been working in London for over 20 years.
