At Artis, we are all about embedding the performing arts into learning. We do this through Artis online - a creative learning video platform for primary schools, delivering weekly, curriculum-linked episodes that enable children to sing, dance and act the curriculum. Teachers using Artis online have seen significant improvements in oracy, engagement, confidence, wellbeing and SEND inclusion.&nbsp;We’re offering a free 12-month programme that can begin at any time (preferably at the start of the school year). It includes six themed series that consist of six episodes for each age group, designed to support classroom learning across a full academic year.Themes are curriculum-linked and include Seasons, Space, Myself, Moving Maths, Minibeasts, Light.&amp; Shadow, Eco Explorers and more.&nbsp;Episodes are complemented by short, 2-minute creative brain breaks requiring no equipment – ideal for energising or calming a class.&nbsp;The episodes are expert-led, curriculum-linked, and designed for active class participation, not passive viewing. They are designed to improve retention of information, oracy, confidence, engagement and SEND inclusion.&nbsp;&nbsp;We've worked with economists to track our impact and the numbers show a 29% improvement in oracy, 34% in confidence and 37% in wellbeing!

Our content is divided into four age groupings: Ages 4–5, Ages 5–7, Ages 7–9 and Ages 9–11Is it easy for teachers to integrate into their planning?Absolutely! Teachers find a regular weekly slot for Artis. Younger year groups might have Artis instead of story time, others dedicate a wellbeing slot, or link Artis to literacy or enrichment time. The flexible format makes it easy to fit us in wherever works best for each individual class teacher.Is special equipment or technology required?No special equipment is needed. To bring Artis magic into your school, you need: • An internet connection • A screen for viewing • A login to access the content.How long are the videos and can they be paused?Each video is 20–30 minutes long. Timers are integrated for exploration, but sessions can be paused at any time for extended class discussions or additional performance sharings.

Discover stories of strength, resilience, and representation through the performing arts.Taking place in the stunning main gallery space of Guildhall Art Gallery in the heart of the City of London, this exciting workshop invites primary school children to explore the lives and legacies of women - including trailblazers Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Emily Davies - through the artwork that depicts them.Blending art and history with the performing arts, children will investigate how women’s experiences have been portrayed over time and how creativity, courage, and determination have shaped social change.Through movement, drama and music activities, as well as guided discussion, children will:<ul><li>Uncover stories through visual art and learn how paintings communicate powerful historical narratives.</li><li>Develop empathy by imagining the lives, challenges, and achievements of the women portrayed.</li><li>Explore themes of resilience, women’s rights, equality, and representation, discussing how these ideas connect to both past and present.</li><li>Build spoken language and communication skills through drama, performance, and collaborative dialogue.</li><li>Reflect on identity, diversity, and fairness through PSHE-linked activities that consider how society values and recognises different contributions.</li><li>Connect key historical events and social movements, including the suffrage movement, to the lives of the women featured, supporting curriculum links in History and PSHE around rights, social change, and community.</li></ul>As part of the experience, your class will enjoy a guided tour of the gallery, unlocking fascinating stories and connecting art to themes of history, identity, and aspiration.
