We are pleased to inform you that The Apex Project will be launching a new programme:NCF Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism This course is due to start in 27 April 2026 Course Details <ul><li>Course: NCF Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism</li><li>Start: 27th April 2026</li><li>Duration: 13 weeks</li><li>Attendance: 2 days per week</li><li>Delivery: Online (live sessions)</li></ul> Course Overview: This qualification is designed to increase learners’ understanding of autism and how to support autistic children, young people and adults in education, community and workplace settings.Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of: <ul><li>What autism is and how it affects individuals differently</li><li>Communication and social interaction differences</li><li>Sensory needs and behaviour</li><li>How to create inclusive and supportive environments</li><li>Supporting positive outcomes for autistic individuals</li><li>Understanding reasonable adjustments and support strategies</li></ul> This course is ideal for anyone interested in working within education, care, support services or community roles. NCF Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism 

Starting on the 9th April 2026 for 8 weeks, this programme will take part in weekly 2 hour workshops at both the Urban Xtra and Itch Radio studios. One Session will be held at the Itch Radio Studio address at Map Studio Cafe, 46 Grafton Road, Kentish Town, NW5 3DU on the Thursdays from 18:00 - 20:00 and the other will be held at the Urban Xtra studio at The London School of Mosaic, 181 Mansfield Road, NW3 2HP on the Saturday mornings from 12:00 - 14:00. Participants will be learning technical, creative and communication skills, while learning how to Dj, set up and present your own radio show and podcast platform, build peer relationships and explore themes of connection and belonging through the shared love of music and story telling. This programme is for 14 - 26 year olds with priority given to Camden residents. Incompletion of the programme participants get the chance to apply to have their own shows/podcasts. Upon completion of the programme, participants will get the chance to apply to have their own shows/podcasts.
