The Maya Centre is a community-based charity in Islington providing free, culturally sensitive counselling, group work and complementary therapies for women.

Understanding and overcoming depression. Are you struggling with depression? Our 6 week support group is here to help. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies and Behavioral Activation (BA) modules. We are offering a new opportunity for clients to register for our upcoming psychoeducation workshop. Join us if you are ready to take the first step towards managing your depression and improving your well-being. Spaces are limited so early registration is encouraged. What we offer:- Insightful sessions: Learn how depression influences your thoughts, feelings, and actions.- Goal setting: Work on creating realistic and achievable goals.- Value exploration: Understand your values and focus on what you want to change.- Supportive environment: Connect with others who re experiencing similar challenges. This workshop runs every Monday for 6 weeks. To register your interest please email admin@mayacentre.org.uk. Pleaser register before 6 Oct 2025 Not a drop-in group.
